All About Me 

Hello! My name is Mary M Garcia. I was born in Vallejo, California although I spent over 50 years of my life living in Utah.

I have spent most of my adult life wanting to write books. I had several topics in mind over the years, but the words never made it out of the pen and onto the paper.

After deciding it was time for me to do what I wanted to do, I took a trip. This trip gave me inspiration to tell my story.

I always knew I had a story to tell. In fact, I think I have several more that just might make it into book form. I just needed the right moment to tell it. That moment is now.

I have had quite a few careers. I’ve worked in Accounting, I was a Bank Teller and Bank Assistant Internal Auditor, I was a Business Owner (Secretary / Treasurer, Agent) for a custom cabinet manufacturing company whose main commodity was cabinets for dental offices, I was a Volunteer and team lead for the 2002 Olympic Games in Salt Lake City, I am currently an Event Security Guard, and now, I can proudly add, I am an Author.

I want to inspire people over sixty, who may now find themselves single after years of being with a family, to continue fulfilling their dreams. I’m taking the “Old” out of “Old Age.”
